2005 SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress Set Nov. 1-3
Warrendale, PA (April 11, 2005) - Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, SAE's 2005 Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress & Exhibition is scheduled for Nov. 1-3 at the Donald. E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont (Chicago), Ill.
This year's event will feature a Global CEO Panel addressing the past, present and future of engineering. Already confirmed for the panel are Daniel C. Ustian, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, International Truck & Engine; and Jorma Halonen, Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO, AB Volvo.
The chairperson for this year's event is Peter Karlsten, President and CEO of Volvo Trucks North America, Inc.
The inaugural SAE Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress & Exhibition was held in 2004 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The show drew more than 3,000 attendees and 165 exhibitors in 31,000 square fee of space. The event was created primarily to serve as a networking and learning opportunity for industry professionals, including engineers, suppliers and manufacturers from both the truck and off-highway sectors.
