G Series rough-terrain forklifts from Case have two mast heights
-
Case Corp.'s three new G-Series rough-terrain forklifts offer lift capacities of 2270 kg (5000 lb), 2700 kg (6000 lb), and 3600 kg (8000 lb), and can be equipped with two mast heights of 4.6 m (15 ft) and 6.7 m (22 ft). Other mast heights are available for special applications. The mast on each unit features a 45ø forward tilt for a lower transport height and 15° back tilt for material retention and balance of heavy loads. Powered by the 56 kW (75 hp) Case 4-390 engine, these machines have the power to work in most job-site conditions. The powerful engine provides the tractive force necessary when working in mud or on a sloped site. Each unit features a 4-speed synchronized transmission with long-lasting, self-adjusting wet-disc brakes for easy operation and reduced operating costs. For easy maneuverability around the job site, all three machines offer 31 cm (12 in.) of mast ground clearance. A 55° turn angle, coupled with zero tail swing, makes this series well suited for working in tight quarters. The most apparent change in these forklifts is their appearance. With the redesigned, sleeker look, the machines hug the ground, providing a low center of gravity that increases stability.
