Compact model, 9007B, added to Case excavator line
-
Filling the gap between mini-excavators and the larger units offered currently, Case Corp.'s new compact 9007B excavator was built for contractors who want the versatility and productivity of a larger excavator, but the maneuverability of a smaller unit. The company's excavators have operating weights ranging from 12,700 to 45,337 kg (28,000 to 99,950 lb). This newest addition is powered by a 40-kW (54-hp) engine and has a maximum digging depth of 4.1 m (13.6 ft.) with the standard arm 1.75 m (5.75 ft), and 4.6 m (15 ft) with the optional 2.13 m (7 ft) arm. It is built on a wide frame of 2.15 m (7 ft 1 in.), making it well suited for contractors working on light applications in a variety of situations. Though compact in size, an adjustable deluxe seat, heater and oscillating fan help make the cab comfortable. The excavator features the same front, side, and rear windows as the rest of the 90B series for greater visibility all around the machine.
