More powerful Caterpillar IT62G integrated toolcarrier replaces 950F Series

The Caterpillar IT62G integrated toolcarrier features the Cat Quick Coupler system that enables the operator to use a variety of work tools and to change them quickly without leaving the cab. This 149-kW (200-hp) machine expands on the capabilities, and is more powerful than the 950F Series II custom toolcarrier that it replaces. Based on the 962G wheel loader, the machine has been designed to perform well in construction, utility, agricultural, and forest product applications. Work tools available for the toolcarrier include buckets, forks, grapples, blades, snow plows, brooms, tire loaders, rakes, and a material-handling arm. All tools are compatible with the Caterpillar Quick Coupler. The toolcarrier's front linkage generates greater lift, tilt, and breakout force than previous designs and offers greater reach and dig depth. Parallel lift and increased tilt capacity help ensure positive load control. Its powertrain delivers aggressive performance, greater fuel economy, and low emissions. The G-Series cab offers easy entry and exit, 20% more space than its predecessor, and 50% more viewing area. All regular service points are accessible from ground level, and sight gauges allow quick assessment of radiator coolant, hydraulic oil, and transmission oil levels.
