JCB improves cold-starting capabilities of wheel loaders

JCB Inc. has upgraded its wheel loader range with heavy-build 426B models and a new Super High Lift option on the 436B HT. The 400 Series machines also include ZX models, which feature heavy-duty Z-bar loader linkage for high loader breakout forces and easy bucket filling. High-torque HT tool carriers have four-point loader geometry and quick-hitch mountings for fast and easy changing of attachments. The 98.5-kW (132 hp), heavy-build 426B ZX and 426B HT have operating masses of 13,065 and 13,295 kg (28,804 and 29,310 lb), while delivering greater operating loads. All of the company's Series B articulated wheel loaders and tool carriers are powered by EPA-certified "green" engines, offering quieter combustion, longer service life, increased torque, and improved unaided cold starting. Bucket capacity ranges from 0.75-3.0 m3 (1.0-4.0 yd3). Options available include limited-slip differential axles on the front and rear to increase traction, and a Smooth Ride System to improve machine handling in long road and carry applications.
