Upgraded mini excavators from JCB join compact equipment line

JCB Inc. has revamped its mini excavator line with enhanced 1.4-t (1.5-ton), 3.6-t (4-ton), and 4.5-t (5-ton) models. These machines join the company's compact equipment line, which includes single-loader arm robot skid steer loaders and the 208S MiniMaster skid steer backhoe loader. The 8014 with cable controls, the 8015 with servos, and the 8015-2 with servo controls and two-speed tracking each have a 12.2-kW (16.3-hp) engine and achieve a maximum digging depth of 2.4 m (7.75 ft). These mini excavators offer many enhancements, including better visibility and comfort, more protection to the rear, and easier service access. The 19.1-kW (25.6-hp) 804 Super replaces the 804 and features a strength-tested cast-iron kingpost, as well as 90° boom swing to the left and 50ø swing to the right. It has an increased bucket rotation of 186° and is able to achieve a maximum dig depth of 3.3 m (11 ft). The 4.5-t (5-ton) model 805, available this summer, offers 32.8 kW (44 hp) and a maximum 4.0 m (13 ft) dig depth.
