Wheel loaders from Komatsu have dual hydraulic speed system

Komatsu America Intl.'s 14,152 kg (31,200-lb) WA320-3 and 17,833 kg (39,315-lb) WA380-3 Avance Plus mid-size wheel loaders have been enhanced to provide customers higher value in a variety of applications through increased productivity, operator comfort, and serviceability, as well as reduced operating costs. Design features that boost productivity -- and reduce cost -- include a dual hydraulic speed system, full powershift countershaft transmission, and a fully hydraulic steering system. Operator comfort is at the forefront of the design features and characteristic of these new wheel loaders. The cab is large, providing more knee room and easy entry and exit. A tiltable steering wheel and improved seat with headrest provide a comfortable ride. For rough operating conditions, an optional ride-control system and air-ride set are also available. The wheel loaders have been redesigned to further reduce cab vibration noise as low as 75 dB, which is often cited as a major contributor to operator fatigue.
