Electronically controlled suspension on Komatsu WA600-3 wheel loader

Komatsu America Intl.'s WA600-3 Avance wheel loader is designed for increased productivity, durability, and operator comfort in aggregate, heavy-construction, and mining applications. The 45,225-kg (99,704-lb) wheel loader features an electronically controlled, 6-cylinder, direct-injection turbocharged, after-cooled 335.7-kW (450-hp) engine, which meets current EPA emissions standards. Design enhancements include a dual-stage hydraulic system, hydraulically actuated wet disc service brakes, ergonomically designed operator controls, as well as an optional full powershift planetary automatic transmission with kick-down switch and electrically controlled suspension system. The 6.1 m3 (8-yd3) bucket is manufactured using high-tensile-strength steel with replaceable bolt-on wear plates for extended bucket life. The loader is also available with optional front and rear limited-slip differentials that prevent tire slippage on soft and sandy ground, enabling stable travel and reduced tire wear. The engine, torque converter, transmission, electric parts, and hydraulic equipment all undergo strict quality control checks for enhanced reliability and durability.
