LR 632 Litronic crawler-tracked loader from Liebherr features intelligent control system

Liebherr Construction Equipment Co.'s LR 632 Litronic crawler-tracked loader combines the hydrostatic travel gear with the intelligent control system, which ensures that engine output is converted into maximum work, but without overloading driveline components. Because maximum travel speed and directional stability are also monitored, and the machine's center of gravity is very low due to the compact construction of the hydrostatic drive components, the machine is well suited for work under extreme conditions. It also has exceptional climbing ability. The running-gear assemblies are mounted and attached resiliently to the supporting frame by means of a pivot shaft and swing beam. This permits a slight rocking action of the running-gear frames, which enhances smooth running and increases effective thrust. Rough terrain is compensated for, and the resilient mounting reduces shock loading. The turbocharged 132-kW (177-hp) Liebherr diesel engine offers low fuel consumption and exhaust emissions levels. In the cab, all control elements are of functional design and arranged ergonomically. The interior layout and windows provide an optimum view of the working attachments. A single lever controls all travel and steering movements.
