Booms on New Holland mini-excavators pivot 60°

New Holland Construction's seven mini-excavators range from the EC15, the company's smallest, 1.4-t (1.5-ton) excavator to the EC600LC, the largest 57.1-t (63-ton) heavy construction model. Mini-excavators are often the machine of choice of rental yards and mechanical, residential construction, and landscaping contractors because of their versatility, flexibility, and low operating cost. Their compact size enables these machines to work easily in backyards, inside buildings, and in other cramped quarters. Attachments for the mini-excavators, such as hydraulic hammers, tampers, and ditch cleaning buckets, extend their capabilities. Small, lightweight, and easy to operate, the excavator's operator platform rotates 360° and the boom pivots 60° to the left and right, giving the operator a high level of control when digging near foundations and other obstacles. The company offers four models, from 1.4-4.1 t (1.5-4.5 ton) in the small mini-excavator class, and three models, from 5.4-10.0 t (6-11 ton), geared to the mid-range class.
