New Holland wheel loaders exceptionally quiet

New Holland Construction Co.'s nine new wheel loaders all feature greater stability and power-to-weight ratios, as well as fast performance. Designed for ease of service and reduced maintenance costs, these new loaders are offered in standard and specialty configurations. They are well suited for use in noise-critical environments and narrow spaces, and all models are exceptionally quiet. The LW50 and LW80 models fit into the mini-wheel loader category and feature fully hydraulic transmissions. They share the same basic design layout as larger models, including the company's Z-bar linkage geometry boom. This design combines the high breakout forces with fast cycle times. The main crossbar, which is further forward, enhances the operator's view of the bucket. These models are powered by Perkins diesel engines, while Cummins or Iveco diesel engines power all others. Spanning 67.1-201.4 kW (90-270 hp), these engines deliver rugged reliability, good fuel economy, and greater power.
