Tracks on dozers from New Holland can counter-rotate

New Holland Construction Co. features three electronically controlled hydrostatic transmission dozers, the DC70, DC80, and DC100, powered by 52.2-130.5-kW (70-175-hp) engines. The tracks on these models have the ability to counter-rotate giving them greater versatility and maneuverability. Well suited to varied tasks, including precision work and grading, these smaller models offer ease of service and low operating costs. The mid-size DC150 and DC180 dozers, with 108 and 130.5 kW (145 and 175 hp) have rugged 3-speed powershift transmissions. Fully modulated to allow gear changing under load, the transmission is operated by a single lever. These models will be offered with differential power steering designed to increase performance and productivity in all work conditions. A new ergonomically designed operator's compartment offers greater visibility and comfort. The final drive and steering system have been developed to reduce running costs, while oil-immersed disc brakes help cut maintenance time. Low-ground-pressure versions offer greater flotation, and all models have available high-performance rippers and winches.
