Brevini USA's series of rotating shaft reducers are available as inline, inline with foot mount, or right angle units. The reducers, suitable for high-torque, low-speed applications, are available in standard ratios from 3.5:1 to 3150:1. Additional nonstandard ratios are also available.

Gas analyzer for diesel emissions

California Analytical Instruments, manufacturer of gas analyzers commonly used for exhaust emissions research, has introduced a photo-acoustic multigas analyzer designed specifically for diesel emissions. Flame ionization detectors, chemiluminesent, and nondispersive infrared gas analyzers are also offered. The company operates a sea-level, vehicle emissions test laboratory, a facility capable of testing gasoline and diesel vehicles for modal emissions and includes a new CAI VT SHED.
