Data-acquisition equipment and software
-
Hi-Techniques, Inc., manufacturer of high-speed data- acquisition equipment and software, will feature its HT600 hardware and software, which capture and process signals from virtually any commercially available transducer. The equipment has a comprehensive analysis package that, when combined with user-friendly macro programming, provides greater flexibility. The company's REVelation engine combustion software captures and processes information on pressure vs. crank angle; peak cylinder pressures; rate of pressure rise; heat release; mass fraction burn; temperature; detonation knock; IMEP, PMEP and NMEP; and individual-cylinder power and torque.

Environmentally sealed keyswitch
-
Hobbs Corp.'s environmentally sealed, sliding contact, key-operated switch incorporates a six-tumbler mechanism that allows for up to 300 exclusive key combinations. The design allows for several switch functions, which include off/on, off/on/start, and off/on/accessory. The stainless steel keyhole shroud and the keyhole dust shutter contribute to the durability of the key tumbler assembly, while O-rings protect the contacts and the rotor assembly from moisture. It is designed to withstand severe temperatures and resist vibration.

Friction lining products
-
Used in power shift, brake, and axle applications, Hoerbiger Drivetech USA, Inc.'s friction lining products offer performance under extreme load conditions. The company's sinter and organic friction linings (paper, carbon, and molybdenum) provide better friction characteristics over a long, hard life, in most applications. Smooth operation is a result of a constant coefficient of friction, even at high shifting frequency, which makes the friction lining plates well suited for automatic transmissions in utility vehicles, as well as multiple disc brakes and locking differentials.
