Maxima Technologies' line of pressure switches, the 835 Series, is designed for use in most engine, hydraulic-, and air-system related applications. Measuring a 6.4 cm (2.5 in.) long x 3.7 cm (1.5 in.) wide and easy to install, the units are compatible with a variety of hydrocarbon-based fluids and other operating media such as air (water and freon are not recommend-ed). The pressure switches are configured internally with direct-action blade contacts in silver, alloy, a zinc-plated steel base, and a glass-reinforced polyester cover.
