Heat exchanger reduces emissions

The Exhaust Gas Cooling System, developed by Serck Heat Transfer USA, Inc. in partnership with Ford, employs a sophisticated heat exchanger to reduce exhaust emissions from diesel engines. This product is a high-integrity, vacuum-brazed stainless steel fabrication designed for maintenance-free, fit-and-forget operation, striking a balance between corrosion resistance and its function as a high-performance heat exchanger. The coolers are designed to meet the requirements of a particular engine and platform in terms of performance, reliability, and the design envelope.

Free retaining ring samples

Smalley Steel Ring Co. now offers free samples of the company's retaining rings. More than 3000 retaining rings are available from stock in both carbon and stainless steel; stock sizes range from 1/2 to 5-16 in. diameters. For special designs, the company offers a "no tooling charge" manufacturing process to order custom retaining rings from 3/8 to 84 in. diameters in 1-4 weeks.
