Grove and HED team builds reliability
In the pursuit to build reliability into its rough terrain (RT) mobile hydraulic cranes, Grove Worldwide collaborated with HED Inc. for a controlled area network (CAN) solution to manage operations and information while maximizing performance. Among other goals, Grove was seeking to incorporate "smart" engine technology, decrease the number of slip rings between the superstructure and the carrier, and eliminate some wiring and traditional control relays.
