Defrost chute and bezel

Revcor/Molded Products' defrost chute and bezel accepts 51, 64, and 76-mm (2, 2.5, and 3-in) hose. It features vertical or side mounting. Parts are made from high-impact ABS, and custom colors are available. Applications include RV, motorsports, agricultural, and marine markets.

Brake and clutch lining

Tribco Inc.'s 100% Kevlar fibered composite friction lining lasts three to five times longer than friction paper, sintered bronze, graphitic, and asbestos linings but will not abrade the opposing metal surface. The lining delivers close static-to-dynamic ratios of friction coefficients at higher energy levels along with higher pressure in both dry and wet applications, including brakes, clutches, power transmissions, PTOs, and other systems.

LED strobing lights

Designed for applications across a wide range of construction equipment and service vehicles, Peterson Manufacturing Co.'s new strobing LEDs meet all SAE J1318 and J845 specifications while requiring no remote power supply; Peterson's strobing LEDs operate on a vehicle's own standard power. Their low amp-draw will not drain the battery while operating when the vehicle is parked. The lights are available in amber and red colors and in both oval and round configurations. The oval lights feature a triple-flashing function and may be specified with either a synchronous or alternating control terminal.

HID discharge lighting

ABL Lights, Inc.'s ABL 5500 high-intensity-discharge (HID) lighting emits a white light compared to a yellowish light for halogen bulbs. This difference results in improved light intensity in dusk-night-dawn working conditions. The lifetime of the lighting is increased five- to tenfold over different halogen light models. Compared to the fragile filament in halogen lights, HID light is generated between two electrodes and thus is unaffected by machine vibration. Power consumption is only 35 W.

Low-profile tires

Michelin has advanced its low-profile radial tire portfolio for 75-260 kW (100-350 hp) small- to medium-wheel loaders by standardizing its XLD line of tires to a 65% aspect ratio. First introduced as the XLD 70 (70% aspect ratio) four years ago, the XLD L3 and Super L3 radial tires are engineered to provide enhanced productivity in abrasive L3 environments. The XLD 70 and XLD 65 tires are completely interchangeable. The XLD L3 features excellent protection and a slow, even wear in standard conditions on medium aggressive surfaces. The XLD Super L3 provides easy handling and extra stability where the tread is deeper than the standard L3.
