Customized pressure transducers

High-performance Psibar pressure transducers from Gems Sensors are available with a large selection of custom configurations in just three days. The company's QwikConfig program was developed to cater to both MRO emergencies and the rapid-development environment. The program is available with a series of configuration options, including more than 45 sensing ranges, nine electrical output selections, and seven pressure port sizes. The pressure sensors are available with 0.5, 0.25, or 0.15% accuracy full-scale static error. Applications include monitoring water pressure, reservoir/river levels, or pneumatic and hydraulic pressure in braking or load-weighing systems.

Pressure sensors

Kavlico's field-proven sensor designs meet the needs of high-vibration, broad-temperature-range environments found in emissions control system applications such as exhaust gas recirculation for spark ignition and diesel engines, engine management applications such as manifold absolute pressure, fuel-rail-differential pressure, diesel particulate traps, exhaust gas aftertreatment, and evaporative emissions control. Pressure transmitter

The Ashcroft Model V2 pressure transmitter from Dresser Instrument has laser-trimmed circuitry that guarantees +1% interchangeability from unit to unit in all key measurements. The device is virtually impervious to shock, vibration, or pressure pulsation. It features all-stainless steel wetted construction and uses fused silicon technology to provide a superior, nonorganic bond between the sensor and the stainless steel diaphragm. The operating temperature range is -40 to +120°C (-40 to +250°F). Ranges are available from vacuum through 68,900 kPa (10,000 psi).

Ergonomic handle

The BH-10 ergonomic joystick handle from J.R. Merritt Controls is supplied with an enable bar (lever) and a sealed rocker switch. The enable bar is used as a deadman switch to prevent inadvertent operation or used as an additional function to the joystick controller. The handle was designed with a slight angle to enhance operator comfort by conforming to the hand's natural curve. This handle is suitable for use on scissor lifts, work platforms, bucket trucks, cranes, agricultural, mining, and forestry equipment.

Clutch switch

The FP-3200 ferrous proximity sensor from Power Components of Midwest, Inc. is a custom-designed, low cost clutch switch that uses reed switch technology with dual sensing capabilities. The technology can be configured for similar applications. The long-life sensor is able to handle large air gaps and will respond to both pass-by and perpendicular straight-on presentation of the target body. The FP-3200 is hermetically sealed, fully encapsulated, and able to withstand harsh environments.
