Subsea pressure transducer

Sensotec's Model TJE pressure transducer provides reliable pressure data in most hostile conditions. Applications include subsea well processes, mud pressure management, well logging, and other wellhead applications. The TJE features hermetic, all-welded, stainless-steel construction and vibration resistance for any application that involves extremes in heat, vibration, and moisture. It delivers 0.01% full scale accuracy and is available in ranges from 0-7 kPa (0-1 psi) to 0-415 MPa (0-60 ksi) with enhanced overpressure tolerance. A variety of outputs are available including 3 mV/V, with optional 0-5 V dc and 4-20 mA for interfacing into existing systems. Standard operating temperature is from -73 to +163°C (-100 to +325°F).

Copper terminals/connectors

Tyco Electronics' heavy-duty, deep-drawn connectors are manufactured from a flat copper strip and drawn into a seamless terminal or connector. Deep-drawn copper terminals and connectors are precisely heat-treated, allowing secure and easy crimping. Each product is stamped with the AWG wire size for easy identification. Flared wire barrels help minimize wire stubbing and allow easy wire insertion. Products in this line are suitable for 600-V ac service. Customers may select from unplated or tin-plated copper. Applications include industrial, welding, and agricultural equipment.

Instrument and control switches

Series 24 instrument and control switches from Electroswitch are rated for 30 A at 600 V and feature a detent action design that provides for up to 10 decks (20 poles) and up to eight positions. All models feature double-wiping, self-cleaning, silver-plated contacts for low resistance and extended service. The control switches include spring return-to-normal (vertical) position, multi-pole contact arrangements, mechanical red/green target, slip contacts for "normal-after" applications, and a pull-to-lock mechanism for safety lockout. The instrument switches include shorting contacts, a common input tap switch arrangement that allows sequential connection to several lines using the same switching deck, and a positive positioning detent mechanism.

The software provides an intuitive environment to determine dc currents and voltage drops throughout system interconnects. Any portion of a design falling outside specified tolerances is highlighted. Designers can use analysis results to revise the sizing of wires or fuses to reduce product weight while enhancing system reliability.
