CAN modules
Solid-state microprocessor modules from HED can be used either in a multiplexed CAN system or have single-board controller capabilities to operate less complex equipment or for dedicated systems. The modules feature compact size yet provide a large number of I/Os to handle multiple vehicle functions. For demanding off-highway applications, a rugged NEMA-4 rated Deutsch box package enables performance with high reliability. The printed circuit boards are made with four layers for high EMI/EMF protection. Boards are conformal coated with a silicone coating for water/moisture protection. The units interface with the firm's configurator software, aiding design engineers in programming routines handled by the modules and providing them flexibility in meeting customer and application demands.
