Split flange adapters
Split flange adapters from Anchor Flange Co. are for use with the firm's SAE J518 split flanges. One-piece carbon steel construction simplifies installation and eliminates potential leak points. The device features zinc dichromate finish for high corrosion resistance, compact design, and various optional thread configurations. The firm's broad range of hydraulic flange configurations provide OEM design engineers with flexibility in the plumbing of hydraulic systems in off-highway components.
High-pressure filter
Arlon's 1000 Series Filter has rated flows to 1000 L/min (265 gal/min) and pressures to 41,400 kPa (6000 psi). Because of its high flow rating, the device has eliminated the requirement for attaching two or more pressure filters to a bulky manifold block to achieve the necessary filtration capacity for today's larger hydraulic systems. Its design facilitates convenience of mounting and servicing. The filters are suitable for both open and closed loop applications. An optional reverse flow valve is available for applications where filtered or non-filtered flow is required.
Compact track motors
Brevini Ridutorri and its U.S. subsidiary, Brevini USA, offer geared motors ranging from 1000 to 5000 Nm (740 to 3700 lbft). Two new drives, the CTM 2032 and CTM 2055, cover applications up to 4000 and 5000 Nm (2950 and 3700 lbft), respectively. Both use integral variable-displacement piston motors made by SAM Hydraulik and come with multi-disc static brakes. Applications include construction equipment, aerial lifts, and drilling equipment.
Inline flowmeter
VF563 Series inline flowmeters from J-Tec Associates, Inc. measure air or low-pressure gas. The all-electronic flowmeters provide the advantages of vortex shedding technology in a design that is intended for rugged applications with minimal space requirements. Features include no moving parts, high accuracy, drift-free performance, high durability, and the ability to measure very small flows.
Miniature check valves
The Lee Co.'s miniature 855 Series and 558 Series Cheks are threadless, cartridge-style check valves ideal for high volume applications. Available in 5.5 mm (0.2 in) and 8 mm (0.3 in) diameters, the valves feature a robust design and an all stainless-steel construction, ensuring consistent long-term performance up to 28 MPa (4000 psi). Flow rates are 1.5 L/min (0.4 gal/min) and 4.9 L/min (3 gal/min), respectively, at pressures up to 170 kPa (25 psi). Both of the valves are compatible with hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, fuels, and oils. Available in forward and reverse flow directions, the valves are inserted into drilled holes, and the tapered pins are driven flush to seal and lock the valves in place. No o-rings or thread are required.
