Nylon and poly fittings

Real-Time Industrial Supply offers a variety of nylon and polypropylene pipe, hose, and nozzle fittings in sizes ranging from 3 to 50 mm (1/8 to 2 in). Configurations include thread to thread, barb to thread, and barb to barb. Nylon fittings are generally acceptable for working pressures up to 1 MPa (150 psi) at normal room temperatures. At very low pressures, temperatures can approach 79°C (175°F) without strength degradation. Poly-propylene fittings are acceptable for working pressures up to 1 MPa (150 psi) at normal room temperatures; at high temperatures, the recommended working pressure decreases.

Nonspill hydraulic couplings

Stäubli Corp.'s HPX high-pressure pulsating or vibrating line of high-performance, nonspill hydraulic couplings was designed and tested to international standards for use under high dynamic and static stress conditions in mobile and industrial applications. High-pressure filters

UFI Hydraulic Div.'s 21 MPa (3000 psi) PM Series high-pressure filters, designed with a 3:1 minimum burst rating, will stand up to the most arduous mobile and industrial applications. Designed for both hydraulic and pneumatic applications, Brennan Industries, Inc.'s bite-type steel compression fittings are available in 35 standard configurations and can be ordered in custom sizes and configurations. The fittings' compact size makes them suitable for work in confined spaces with no special tools required. The fittings are designed for working pressures up to 55 MPa (8000 psi) and are suited for indoor use and noncorrosive environments in OEM and MRO applications involving pressurized gases and fluids.

Hydraulic fixed caliper

Knott Brake Co.'s 2 x 60 hydraulic fixed caliper is for applications such as towed farm wagons and manure spreaders. The caliper uses the same oil that is used in the tractor and can be plumbed into the same hydraulic system. With a robust, fixed-caliper design, it is also less prone to sliding pins and corrosion. Capable of withstanding high pressure, the caliper has a maximum clamping force of 28,470 N (6400 lb). It has a maximum torque rating of 4635 N•m (3415 lb•ft), and disc size ranges from 250 to 380 mm (10 to 15 in).
