Multi-port ball valves

Bee Valve's multi-port ball valves are manufactured out of high-strength polypropylene. Two valve sizes are available, a 0.75-in (19-mm) true-union valve and a 2-in (50-mm) multi-port valve. The valve's three position settings are bottom-to-right, bottom-to-left, and off. The valves feature Teflon seats and EPDM O-rings, with viton kits available. They are pressure-rated at 125 psi (860 kPa) at 70°F (21°C).

Tubular filter

Sefar America has developed a new tubular filter product line, called the SEFAR Micro Tube, that is an ultrasonically seamed tube with inner diameters ranging from 2 to 10 mm (0.08 to 0.4 in). The seam features an overlap construction to provide for a "true" circular cross section. The ultrasonically welded seam provides designers the option of eliminating longitudinal ribs normally used to encapsulate weak seams, providing more flow area through the filter and allowing for reduced component sizes. The product can be used for inline fluid and air filters.

Hydraulic brake valves

The VB series of hydraulic-assist brake valves—the result of the acquisition of Rogat Industries by Poclain Hydraulics —can work with existing customer brake circuits when hydraulically assisted braking is required, or it can be used as part of a complete braking system including Poclain motors with DYNA+ dynamic brakes. Available in the series are parking brakes, accumulator charging valves (shown, and available for single- or dual-circuit use), and pedal assemblies. The valves can also be used to regulate the displacement of hydraulically controlled pumps.

Tube fitting

The new Flange-Seal fitting from Parker Hannifin Tube Fittings Division allows a male face seal tube assembly to be attached to another tube or hose assembly. The new fitting replaces the commonly used but more expensive ORFS braze-type or tube union connector. The product uses Parker's patented Parflange process, which mechanically attaches the flange fitting to the tube by creating a 90° flat face on the tube end. The company claims its process is about 10 times faster than comparable induction or torch brazing. When assembled to the mating tube or hose line, its elastomeric bonded-seal design provides a leak-free connection. It has been tested in accordance with SAE J1453 performance requirements.

Check valves

The Lee Co.'s new miniature 855 and 558 Series' Cheks are threadless, cartridge-style check valves for high-volume applications. Available in 5.5- and 8-mm (0.22- and 0.31-in) diameters, the valves feature a robust design and all stainless-steel construction for consistent long-term performance up to 28 MPa (4 ksi). Flow rates are 0.4 and 1.3 gal/min (1.5 and 4.9 L/min), respectively at pressures up to 25 psi (170 kPa). Both of the valves are compatible with hydraulic fluids, brake fluids, fuels, and oils. Available in forward and reverse directions, the Cheks are inserted into drilled holes, and the tapered pins are driven flush to seal and lock the valves in place.

Coupling block

Faster's new coupling block assembly allows for connection by hand while either the male half, female half, or both halves are under pressure. The patented block coupler uses flat-faced couplers that meet ISO-16028 standards for interchangeability. It can be connected under pressures up to 3900 psi (27,000 kPa).
