Protective sleeving

Sidewinder protective sleeve material from Suburban Manufacturing, Inc., is suitable for hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic hose/cable bundling. Sleeves are manufactured using a coated ballistic Cordura with an industrial hose and loop closure for easy assembly and removal. The sleeves can be installed without having to disconnect lines and can be removed easily for maintenance. The sleeves are available in a variety of circumferences and lengths to 150 ft (45 m).

Hydraulic filtration

The Filtration Station from Schroeder Industries is a fully automated flushing unit with particle monitoring and the ability to print ISO cleanliness reports. Through the use of an interactive touch screen, the patent-pending unit will fill a measured volume of flushing fluid, circulate and filter, and drain a hydraulic system, component, or circuit. During these operations, the unit provides an on-screen analysis of the fluid's changing cleanliness levels.

Open-circuit piston pump

Eaton Corp.'s new Vickers M Series open-circuit piston pump is available in six frame sizes with a pressure capability up to 32,000 kPa (4650 psi) intermittent. The M Series pumps are 60% quieter than Eaton's previous- generation industrial design pumps. All PVM models ship with adjustable maximum stop, inlet and outlet gauge ports, and drain ports, allowing shaft-up installations. The hydraulic power units are installed via SAE 2- and 4-bolt mounting pilots with straight key and spline shafts. Twelve displacements are currently available for the North American market.

Skid-steer-loader motor

Poclain Hydraulics' ML06 was designed exclusively for skid-steer loaders with an operating lift capacity from 1700 to 2600 lb (770 to 1180 kg) that use cam-lobe radial piston technology. At 13 in (330 mm) in length from rear cover to the end of its dual sprocket output shaft, the motor delivers up to 630-cm3 displacement at 330 rpm, with pressures up to 5800 psi (40,000 kPa), and includes two speeds via the patented Soft-Shift technology. Porting is arranged to accommodate flexible hosing connections.
