Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

10.4.5 404 Not Found

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Particle counter

The new dual-laser particle counter (DLPC) from Webster Instruments is a rugged, portable particle analyzer that counts and sizes particles of solid contaminants at ranges below 6 microns in fluid-power systems. The DLPC can operate online up to a working pressure of 6000 psi (41,400 kPa) and is unaffected by pressure fluctuations while sampling. Four test modes provide flexibility when sampling and include continuous, dynamic, triple, or single test, as well as a bottle sampling option. Tests can be transferred to a computer via the RS-232 port, and Microsoft Windows-compatible software provides data analysis and archiving functions.

Motion analysis

The Hi-Dcam II from NAC Image Technology is a high-speed, digital monochrome or color camera system capable of recording speed well over 8000 pps. Each system features a compact, remote camera head that fits easily into confined spaces. Images can be quickly reviewed and downloaded to a PC for more detailed analysis or image archiving and storage. As a computer peripheral, the system is a Microsoft Windows-based motional analysis tool that includes onboard memory and camera control boards as well as user interface software and documentation. Multiple Hi-Dcam II systems can be operated by a single PC for the simultaneous recording of multiple views of a single event.

Fuel-metering products

Max Machinery, Inc., has released an eight-page brochure that highlights the use of the company's various fuel-metering products. One such product is the Max 710 series (pictured) of portable, microprocessor-based displays that provide linearized flow information and temperature signal outputs for the Max fuel-conditioning systems. The displays are specifically designed to work with the Model 710 fuel-measuring system to create a system for in-vehicle or stationary applications with an accuracy of better than ±0.25% of reading over a 1000:1 operating range.

Pressure calibrators

Druck, Inc.'s next-generation DPI 610 Series of battery-powered, microprocessor-based digital pressure calibrators offer 0.025% accuracy with an internal pressure vacuum generation to 6000 psi (41,400 kPa) in an environmentally sealed package. All commands are via tactile elastomer keys that surround the LCD graphic display panel. A task menu minimizes keystroking during a test procedure for a system or unit under test. Other capabilities of the 6.5-lb (3-kg) unit include read and output voltage and current, selectable engineering units, RS-232 interface, multiple externally ranged pressure transducers, and results storage for calibration documentation.

Temperature profiling

Pocketpaq from Datapaq features a temperature profiling capability for PDAs. This software package runs on the Palm OS platform and provides graphics, zoom capability, time at temperature, peak temperatures, and other features. The unit is compatible with most Datapaq data loggers. Reports can be printed straight from the PDA. The profile can also be transferred to a PC for further analysis with Datapaq software.
