Drivelines
Rockford Powertrain Inc.'s Mechanics universal joint Series EC and Series ER drivelines are available in maintenance-free or fully relubable configurations. The heavy-duty, off-highway drivelines are directly interchangeable with common industry sizes. From the traditional 5C through 15C quick disconnect to the complimentary round bearing sizes starting at 410R, both models include precision balance, coated splines, and durable internally protected slip seal.
Pressure transducer
Viatran Corp.'s digitally compensated 45 Series pressure transducer is its most accurate (0.05% FS) unit for industrial test applications. The unit is temperature compensated from -40 to +85°C (-40 to +185°F) and has a small size and weight, all-stainless-steel wetted surfaces, 14 to 3450 kPa (2 to 500 psi), and a shunt calibration circuit. Typical applications include engine test stands, metrology, transmission testing, brake testing, and precise machine control.
Loop clamp
The Adelok from Adel Wiggins aids in the assembly of clamped components by holding itself closed and in place during installation. This self-restraining or heel lock technology allows installers to place several clamps simultaneously on a single attach point. It also allows single-handed accessibility and clamping in hard-to-reach locations. The Adelok is suitable for rapid clamp assembly and improved stacking methods for fluid lines and hoses, wire bundles, power cables, and fire detection sense lines. Clamps are available to handle payloads from 1.6 to 89 mm (0.062 to 3.5 in) and can be supplied with more than 20 different elastomeric materials and contour shapes.
Pressure transducer
Kavlico's P155 stainless-steel pressure transducer is available with a 3/8-24 UNF-2B female-thread pressure connector. This option gives users that need special male fittings such as AN or quick-disconnect for plastic tubing the flexibility to use off-the-shelf or custom adapters. The ceramic capacitive sensing technology offers long-term stability as well as improved repeatability and hysteresis.
Hoses
The 351TC and 351ST abrasion-resistant hoses from Parker Hannifin Corp.'s Hose Products Div. can be used in one-half SAE 100R1 minimum bend radius applications. Available with an MSHA-accepted Tough Cover for difficult environments or a Super-Tough polymeric cover for severe applications, both hoses offer a 27,579-kPa (4000-psi) constant working pressure in sizes that range from 6.35 to 19 mm (0.25 to 0.75 in) I.D. No-skive design eliminates the need to remove the cover before crimping.
