Bi-axial inclinometers

General-purpose Series SI-702B electronic bi-axial tilt sensors from Columbia Research Laboratories, Inc. produce a high-level low-impedance output proportional to the sine of the tilt angle. Electronic damping and desensitization circuitry permit tilt measurements along two perpendicular axes in strong vibration and shock environments. The SI-702BHP uses Columbia's HP suspension system and is suited for applications involving platform stabilization, surface mapping, and measuring tilt angles in remote locations. Model SI-702BI is a force balance inclinometer with an output circuit configuration for use in 4-20 mA data transmission systems. A 15-V supply powers both the sensor and the line driver, while desensitization circuitry provides accurate tilt data along two axes in substantial vibration environments.
