Manifold-mounted filter

The PL Series filters from Universal Hydraulics are suitable for working pressure to 31,000 kPa (4500 psi) with improved filtration efficiency and functionality features. They are designed for direct manifold mounting, making for easy installation with a leak-free and compact design. The series is available in nine different sizes.

Turbine flow sensor

Flo-tech's turbine flow sensor catalog offers information on its line of hydraulic diagnostic equipment and turbine flow sensors. New in the catalog are the F2000 Quad Series of turbine flow sensors that use two flow transducers 90° electrically out of phase from each other, enabling flow to be monitored from both directions; several portable hydraulic testers for fast diagnostic troubleshooting are also new.

Hollow-shaft encoder

Kübler's Model 5882 hollow-shaft encoder, available from Global Industrial Products, has hollow shafts up to 12 mm (0.472 in) in diameter. Instead of mechanical gearing, the unit uses a touchless electronic gearing with low-resistance circuitry and pulsed read-in and read-out of information. The Ezturn PC-based programming tool allows the user to stock only one type of encoder, which is programmed for each application.

ASCII protocol sensor

The Temposonics S Series ASCII protocol position-control sensor from MTS Sensors Div. and Paw-Taw-John Services provide control engineers with an enhanced interface to Allen Bradley and Automation Direct PLC platforms. The device features a high-performance sensor and embedded closed-loop position controller in the same envelope. It uses enhanced Windows application setup software.

Hydraulic press systems

The Hydraulic Press Systems Program, NG 6, 10, 16, and 25 (D03, D05, D07, and D08), from Bosch Rexroth Corp. are complete press manifold system blocks designed in a modular format. Numerous versions are available in four basic sizes, determined by the size of the main directional/proportional valve size. The units have safety valves plus monitoring, pressure control, and directional valves depending on the desired press functions. Standard solenoid operated directional on/off valves or proportional valves are employed.
