Exhaust flowmeter
J-TEC Associates' 51-mm (2-in) VE502 and 76-mm (3-in) VE503 Series Exhaust Flow-meter System measures volumetric exhaust flow for emissions testing. The all electronic system has no moving parts and can operate over a wide dynamic range at temperatures up to 538°C (1000°F). It offers minimal pressure drop with little effect on engine performance during operation, high accuracy, and drift-free performance.
Torque transducer
Magtrol's Model 6400 Torque Transducer Display is designed for use with all TM, TMHS, and TMB torque transducers. The device powers the transducer and uses high-speed digital signal processing to display torque, speed, mechanical power, and direction of rotation. It can be used as a basic display, as an interface with Magtrol TM Software, or on the production line using its pass/fail feature.
Tie-rod cylinders
TRD Mfg.'s NFPA stainless-steel body tie-rod cylinders can be used for chemical, offshore or marine, and energy-production applications. The line includes the SS series tie-rod cylinders, which feature a pre-lubed design that eliminates the need for additional lubrication. A 1700-kPa (250-psi) pneumatic version is standard, and a 2760-kPa (400-psi) non-shock hydraulic version is optional.
Check valves
Industrial Specialties Mfg.'s multi-port check valves are used to control flow in the lines of vacuum or pressure by permitting flow in one direction and preventing flow in the opposite direction. The valves will operate in any orientation and can also be used for liquid service. They are made with nylon bodies and fluorosilicone seals.
Low-impact fastener
Huck Fasteners' Small Diameter Huck-Spin fasten-ing system combines proven performance in demanding truck frame fastening applications with smaller-diameter fasteners such as 6.4, 8.0, and 9.5 mm (1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 in). The quiet spin-on, swage, spin-off installation leaves no pintail, so no stress occurs from the shock load of pin break. The installation tool has a mass of only 3.2 kg (7 lb), reducing the threat of worker fatigue and stress injuries.
