Global mount hydraulic motor

The Big 6 low-speed, high-torque motor from Eaton Corp.'s Hydraulics Div. features a global mount, metric mount-ing flange, and heavy-duty 50-mm (2-in) shaft. The global mount, similar to ISO 3019/2, is suited for a variety of propel and industrial applications. A 60-mm (2.4-in) tapered shaft and 54-mm (2.1-in) 16-tooth splined shaft are also available. The new mounting configuration and displacements combine to provide a drop-in motor for global applications. The design of this Geroler-type motor features few moving parts, resulting in less friction and greater mechanical efficiencies.

On-time hour meter

ENM Co.'s Model MT10 electric motor on-time hour meter is a measuring device that operates on the prin-ciple of magnetic sensing. A touch sensor attaches to any metallic surface on any elec-tric motor, and the actual on-time is recorded on an LCD. The unit is a suitable test device for manufacturers and users of motors, pumps, compressors, HVAC, electrical rotating equipment, and for applications in test departments, repair shops, and service stations. Continuous readout up to 9999.9 hours is provided in 8-mm (0.3-in) digits on the display, which houses a 15,000-h continuous running lithium battery in a weatherproof case.

Friction bushings

PEL-T bushings, manufactured by the French H.E.F. Group, are made using a thin strip of rolled steel that features an overall pattern of lubricant cavities with thermochemical surface treatment and impregnation on all surfaces for hardness and friction properties. Designed for heavily loaded joints, the bushings are suited for construction, excavation, mining, farming, and other harsh environments. Particular applications are leaf spring mounts, brake linkages, pump connecting rods, conveyors, and hydraulic rod joints.
