Hedland Flow Meters' line of 24 to 41 MPa (3500 to 6000 psi) flowmeters for monitoring and measuring high temperature hydraulic fluids can operate continuously at temperatures to 205°C (400°F) and intermittently from 205 to 260°C (400 to 500°F). Specific designs are available for hydraulic systems operated with petroleum fluids, phosphate ester fluids, water-based fluids, and water and other liquids. Typical applications include monitoring the temperatures of transformer oils, diesel fuels, gearbox lubrication oils, and more. Suited for all critical metering applications.
Manufactured by S. Himmelstein and Co., the Model 721 Signal Conditioning Instrument computes and displays mechanical and fluid power. The instrument accepts input from an mV/V strain gauge sensor and a frequency output sensor and is suited for determining shaft, fluid, and drawbar power. A third channel computes and displays the mechanical power, while a two-line alphanumeric backlit LCD can display any two selected channels or one channel with either limit or I/O status. The unit features a six-digit data display with 0.01% resolution and five character engineering unit legends that are user programmable for all channels.
Hirose Electric's HR30 push-pull latched circular connector is designed to meet IP67, which enables it to withstand submersion for up to 30 min when mated. This miniature circular connector has an outside diameter of 12.6 mm (0.50 in), housing six contacts in a lightweight plastic that is resistant to corrosion. Both the plug and receptacle use gold plated solder cup contacts rated at 2 A. Connectors with 3, 10, and 12 contacts are under development.
The Econo-Isolator clamping system from Hydro-Craft, Inc. provides inexpensive straps and cushions to fit standard outside diameters used in plumbing, mechanical, HVAC/R, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel line, and electrical applications. The cushions are mounted using standard pipe straps and establish lines that are rigid and uniform. The bushings are made from styrene butadiene rubber that is compression molded and selected for its compatibility with industrial solvents, fuels, hydraulic fluids, other liquids, and gases.
Industrial Specialties Manufacturing, Inc.'s 230-page catalog describes the company's complete selection of fittings, tubing, mufflers, manifolds, valves, filters, and accessories offered in a complete range of sizes. The products are available in a choice of materials that include brass, stainless steel, and numerous plastic formulations. A full line of plastic tubing and a chemical compatibility chart as well as an engineering data section are also included in the catalog.
Knott Brake Co.'s 2 x 60 hydraulic fixed caliper is for applications such as towed farm wagons and manure spreaders. The caliper uses the same oil that is used in the tractor and can be plumbed into the same hydraulic system. With a robust, fixed-caliper design, it is also less prone to sliding pins and corrosion. Capable of withstanding high pressure, the caliper has a maximum clamping force of 28,470 N (6400 lb). It has a maximum torque rating of 4635 Nm (3415 lbft), and disc size ranges from 250 to 380 mm (10 to 15 in).
