Southco's Ejector Lever features a built-in lever-assisted mechanism that easily ejects and injects modules with connector pins. Its 5:1 mechanical advantage provides the force required to connect and disconnect even high-density connectors. The unit can replace jacking screws and traditional panel fasteners.
Sensor Developments' noncontact wheel torque sensor system integrates the firm's digital FM telemetry system and its custom torque sensor that can be attached directly to the axle hub or to a customer-supplied wheel rim. Features include high-level analog signal output, 12 bits A/D resolution, RS-232 serial output, 1250 Hz sample rate, battery operated transmitter, and onboard shunt calibration and power switch.
The LS-2 liquid level switch from Gems Sensors Inc. features all-polypropylene wetted materials and handles pressure to 1030 kPa (150 psi) and temperatures of -40 to +99°C (-40 to +210°F). At slightly over 50 mm (2 in) in length and 25 mm (1 in) in diameter, it is ideal for shallow tanks and restricted areas. A fluted stem keeps mineral deposits from forming on the switch stem.
Bimba Manufacturing's low-profile magnetic position sensing Pneu-Turn rotary actuator is a rack-and-pinion style device that reduces space, weight, and cost. It features corrosion-resistant stainless steel and anodized aluminum, includes five standard angles of rotation, and has no external seals. A low-profile track on the cylinder body allows switch-equipped cylinders to be used in tight spaces.
Rockwell Automation's Dodge Torque-Arm II shaft-mounted speed reducers are available in 12 case sizes through 447 kW (600 hp) and 50,800 Nm (37,500 lbft). The devices feature a steel motor mount system, twin tapered bushing system, modular shaft mount, and screw conveyor drive design with expanded ratio range. The sealing system uses a double-lip, spring-loaded, rubber-coated oil seal protected by a metal excluder seal with rubbing lip.
