Thread identification
A thread identification kit (MIK-1/4403-B1) from Parker Hannifin Corp. aids in identifying metric, BSP, SAE, and NPT threads and end types found on hydraulic fittings worldwide. The new kit, which is a combination of kits previously offered by the company's Tube Fittings and Hose Products Divisions, includes detailed instructions for identifying thread pitch, size, and type, as well as the tube and port end connection style.
Flowmeters
Hedland EZ-View flowmeters and inline test kits offer a cost-efficient way to maintain and improve the performance of oil, water, and other fluid-based systems. Strainer
Bee Valve Inc.'s 76-mm (3-in) high-strength poly-propylene Y-strainer with quick-clean cap features a high flow capacity. The 102-mm (4-in) cap is easy to clean and incorporates patented cam-arm safety latches. Other features include an extra-large stainless-steel screen, EPDM gaskets, and Viton O-rings. Pressure rating for the Y-strainer is a maximum of 520 kPa (75 psi) at 21°C (70°F).
Linear guide seal
A high-performance side seal on linear guides from NSK Precision America significantly reduces the introduction of fine contaminants such as graphite or ceramic powder and particulate matter such as rubber or wood particles into the ball slide. The seal doubles the service life of the ball slide. The side seal features three lips and protrudes forward on the guide, which has no wire groove in the rail for guiding a ball-retaining wire. Applications include tire-buffing machines, welding lines, and laser-cutting machines.
