Finishing center

Andrews Glass Co. provides grinding, honing, polishing, and lapping capabilities to guarantee smooth, accurate finishes for both glass and quartz components. The firm meets tolerances up to 0.013 mm (0.0005 in) in concentricity and 0.0025 mm (0.0001 in) in diameter. The precision finishing center includes concentric, centerless, and surface grinders; lappers and polishers; and precision cut-off saws for complex and demanding jobs. Applications include glass plungers and cylinders that are used in dispensing pumps and other industrial applications requiring piston-like operation.

Tagging relays

Series 24 and 31 tagging relays from Electroswitch are used for remote or manual circuit-breaker operation. Designed for new or existing automated power distribution systems, the relays are available with two or three positions. They may be operated manually, electrically, or remotely. Tagging relays are typically used to allow remote reclosure cutoff, to optimize a breaker-control scheme, or to facilitate the expansion of a SCADA system beyond a substation to distribution feeders.

Connector series

The Amphe-Power connector series from Amphenol Industrial Operations allows users to increase the current load per circuit while reducing the total number of circuits in the application, resulting in lower overall costs. The series consists of Power P-lok, GT Reverse Bayonet, and threaded MS5015 style connectors, all incorporating the RADSOK socket system, which features a low millivolt drop connection with a low insertion force. The RADSOK electrical terminal is based on a hyperbolic grid configuration and contains a cylinder with several equally spaced longitudinal beams twisted into a hyperbolic shape.

Test gauge

The Ashcroft digital gauge combines precision and multifunction capability in a weatherproof case. The unit's accuracy is 0.05% terminal point, total error band full-scale including span, linearity, hysteresis, and temperature from -17 to +65.5°C (1.4 to 150°F). The gauge features a 76-mm (3-in) case and meets ASME B40.7 specifications. The display exclusively offers backlighting with adjustable contrast levels. It can be used in applications from test stands to fluid processes.
