Hydraulic brake
The Lightning medium-duty hydraulic brake from Hayes Brake features 1850 lb (840 kg) of clamp force and a 1500-psi (103-bar) operating pressure. A compact, one-piece cast aluminum housing makes the brake suitable for easy mounting inside the wheel, and a square seal piston retraction offers constant running clearance. Other features of the heavy-duty hydraulic brake include 375 lb•ft (508 N•m) with an 8-in (203-mm) diameter disc, quick change pads with long-life friction material, and a floating pin design that offers improved mounting ease and flexibility.
