Hydraulic flanges
A line of four-bolt hydraulic flanges and components from Parker Hannifin Tube Fittings Div. consists of more than 1100 parts. The line includes carbon steel and stainless-steel products. Featured are socket weld; butt weld; threaded SAE, NPT, and BSPP; flange heads; flange clamps; as well as straights/elbows and junction blocks.
Bite-type fittings
Brennan Industries, Inc. has expanded its hydraulic fittings line to include forged, flareless, bite-type compression fittings. Designed for both hydraulic and pneumatic applications, the fittings are available in over 400 standard configurations. They provide an added safety seal when connecting medium- to extra-heavy-wall tubing for leak-free applications ranging from small-molecule gases to high-pressure hydraulic fluids. Because they are formed under extreme pressure, forged fittings are inherently stronger and have a more uniform density than cast or cold-formed parts. They also offer enhanced resistance against vibration and mechanical shock because of the uninterrupted grain of the part's contour. The fittings are designed for working pressures up to 34,470 kPa (5000 psi).
Hydraulic solenoid valves
Flange-mounted, drop-in hydraulic solenoid valves from HydraForce feature integral waterproof coils for 12- or 24-V dc operation, several push-on termination options, and rugged metal covers. The model SV98-T39 is a direct-acting, balanced-spool, two-position, three-way directional control valve designed for low-pressure applications such as pilot systems or power shift transmission control.
Flow transmitters
Multifunctional remote flow indicators and transmitters from Hedland Flow Meters are used with hydraulic fluids or compressed gases. The transmitters monitor operating hydraulic or pneumatic systems and provide an on-site, visual readout of fluid/airflow rates while transmitting a signal to a central electronic-process-control/data-acquisition system for subsequent operations. Measurements are accurate to ± 2% full scale. Typical hydraulic applications for the transmitters include monitoring and controlling the process coolants to lasers and CNC machines; measuring hydraulic fluids to monitor pump performance and lubrication of bearings; maintaining temperatures of injection molds; verifying component performance on test benches; and monitoring power unit performance on mobile equipment. Pneumatic applications include monitoring air or gas flow from compressors to document consumption and verifying that proper flows are available to operate pneumatically driven equipment in the packaging industry.
Aluminum flange head
The five-bolt-hole aluminum flange head from e-Components Intl. Inc. is used to measure fuel, hydraulic fluid, lube oil, and refrigerant levels. It is used extensively in agriculture and construction equipment, Class 8 trucks, and stationary equipment. Features include direct read with or without remote transmitter and the ability to be adjusted to tank depths of 127 to 610 mm (5 to 24 in).
