Conveyor-belt fasteners
A rivet-attached, hinged-plate conveyor belt fastener from Flexco is made of a special metal that offers superior resistance to wear and abrasion for heavy-duty applications requiring small-diameter pulleys such as portable conveyors, trenchers, cold planers, and construction equipment. The R5 MegAlloy fasteners provide two to three times greater wear life than conventional steel fasteners, plus the convenience, strength, and smooth profile of a scalloped edge, rivet-hinged design.
Lubrication kits
Lubriquip's Trabon automatic lubrication kits developed for off-road equipment include a Tri-Lube heavy-duty reservoir and electric-pump package with integral timer and manifold and master and secondary divider valves to provide reliable lubrication to all equipment bearings. The timer is field adjustable to match specific maintenance practices and various operating or environmental conditions.
Fast refueling nozzle
Wiggins' fast refueling nozzle combines light-weight, aerospace, impact-resistant composites and cast aluminum construction with fail-safe, dry-break, no-spill technology. Used in mobile and fixed re-fueling applications for diesel locomotives and haul trucks, loaders, and dozers in more than 95% of the open pit mines around the world, the system has passed the durability and functionality tests necessary for operation in harsh environments. Should a malfunction occur during refueling, when the tank is full, or if the nozzle is not connected to the receiver, no fuel will flow. Automatic pressure shutoff at 55 to 69 kPa (8 to 10 psi) eliminates out-of-service time, increases vehicle use, and reduces operating costs. A filter and vent assembly is available to prevent contaminants from entering the vehicle fuel system, and the nozzle is repairable in less than 30 min with a wrench and a screwdriver.
Attenuator connector
The VAC from Johanson Fiber Optics Group is a shock and vibration resistant, field installable variable attenuator connector. The VAC features a zero to greater than 30 dB(A) typical attenuation range and low back reflection of less than -60 dB(A) (APC version). Units offer fine resolution, have low polarization sensitivity, and are wavelength insensitive.
