Welding/cutting workcell
The Versa DST from the Genesis Systems Group is a dual-station swing table robotic workcell that handles medium-sized parts and medium-to-high part volumes. The workcell's unique axis swings the work piece from the load/unload position near the operator to the welding position adjacent to the robot, maximizing the usable robot work envelope. The system can also run the opposing station during fixture changeover, eliminating downtime associated with changeover applications. The Versa DST's table dimensions are 1090 x 610 mm (43 x 24 in), with a mass capacity of 160 kg (350 lb). Common applications include automotive and lawn and garden components.
Access panel latch
Eberhard Manufacturing Co.'s #4000 series mini paddle latches, which are designed for use in small access panels, are available in three finishes: stainless steel with a satin finish, carbon steel with a black powder coat, and carbon steel with a zinc finish. The latches are easily installed with single-screw, blind-mount fastening.
Tire inflator
The 89MD automatic tire inflator from Haltec Corp. simplifies the inflation and deflation process while improving tire-inflation accuracy. The operator sets the desired pressure number on the inflator and connects the hose to the tire valve, then the unit performs the inflation. The device also deflates to the correct pressure if the tire is over inflated.
Precision spindles
The Sentry A-Series Model B035 spindle from SETCO Sales Co. is designed for boring, drilling, and milling applications. It features dual, 35-mm (1.4-in) angular contact front ball bearings for high rigidity and a 30-mm (1.2-in) rear cylindrical roller bearing. Standard jackscrew holes are provided on both sides of the block housing for precise control of the centerline.
Plasma cutting system
Hypertherm's Powermax380 portable hand plasma cutting system features easy switching, dual-voltage versatility, a digital control board, and dynamic boost circuitry to compensate for low-line conditions. An active electronic pilot-arc control circuit helps maintain uninterrupted operation and optimum consumable life when cutting expanded metal, while a blow-back design generates a strong pilot arc for piercing metals through rust, paint, and other coatings.
