Skid-steer loader motor
The ML motor from Poclain Hydraulics, for use in skid-steer loaders, is the first in a range of dedicated loader motors. The ML06 is intended for loaders with an operating capacity of 770-1180 kg (1700-2600 lb). It provides the torque expected of its heavy-duty radial piston design, but at 330 rpm, delivers nearly twice the speed of the standard MS modular motor series. With improved motor efficiencies, more engine power is available for work, and less system cooling is required. The two-speed version is designed to provide the optimum speed ratio for high torque in the working range with high speed in the travel range. The ML06 incorporates a two-speed transmission that softens shifting, providing smoother operation and greater operator comfort. A unique loop exchange valve design sends hot oil to the cooler while providing trouble-free cold weather performance suitable for use in snow removal applications.
Cast-iron gear pumps
The Sauer-Danfoss cast-iron gear pumps are in production on an agricultural tractor and skidsteer loader. The range includes nine displacements from 26 to 63 cm3/rev (1.6 to 3.8 in3/rev) and any combination of three drive shaft options, two part options, and two mounting flanges. They will also be available as solo and tandem pump options with the use of flow control covers, including load-sensing where required.
Ball valve
A 102-mm (4-in) full-port bolted ball valve and a 76-mm- (3-in-) high capacity Y-strainer from Real-Time Industrial Supply are made from high-strength, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene. The ball valve features an 8-bolt assembly for greater strength and a self-aligning ball for full flow. Pressure rating is listed at 689 kPa (100 psi) at 21°C (70°F). The Y-strainer includes stainless steel screens, EPDM gaskets, and Viton o-rings. Pressure rating for the Y-strainer is a maximum 483 kPa (70 psi) at 21°C (70°F).
Flowmeters catalog
A catalog from Barnant details its line of Gilmont industrial and laboratory flowmeters. Full specifications on the entire flowmeter line are included as well as flow-rate-analysis software. NIST certification is provided.
Tank top filter
The RF Series tank top filter from Universal Hydraulics Intl. Ltd. is suited to both mobile and industrial applications. With an inside-to-outside flow path through the element and a magnetic prefilter as part of the cartridge, the filter ensures that no contamination enters the tank during element changeover. Available from stock in 11 sizes, the RF Series filter will handle flows from 96 to 1136 L/min (25 to 300 gal/min) and is available with element media ranging from 25 µm (1000 µin) cellulose to 6 µm (240 µin) glass fiber. A 152 kPa (22 psi) bypass is available with a range of indicators from a simple gauge to both visual and electrical differential units. An electrical indicator with thermal overload is available for cold start conditions.
