Pneumatic hand pump
Handheld portable pumps from TTI, Inc. supply pressure generation with standard fine-tuning adjustments and pressure relief valves. These pumps are suitable for applications including electronic calibrators, digital indicators, analog gauges, pressure transmitters, transducers, and relief valves. They generate pressure to 2480 kPa (360 psi) or vacuum to 84 kPa (25 inHg) on the same unit.
Load cell for fluid power
The Model 1303 strain-gauge load cell from PCB Piezotronics, Inc. is designed for tension and compression force measurements in fluid-power-transfer systems. The small-diameter package and 25 to 355-mm (1 to 14-in) male-female threads allow easy, direct attachment to a piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder. A side-mounted, stainless-steel, hermetically sealed connector allows cable assemblies to be supported without affecting the loading of the sensor.
Hydraulic fittings
Brennan Industries' entire product catalog is available on its website, www.brennaninc.com. Users can obtain information and request quotes for more than 10,000 different products. Products can be searched for by product category, catalog number, or key words. The line includes pipe and straight thread fittings, o-ring face-seal fittings, 37° flare tube fittings, forged fittings, international fittings, and adapter unions. Most are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and brass. All Brennan fittings meet JIC, SAE, and international standards.
Gear pumps
Honor Gear Pumps Corp., whose world headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Taiwan, has opened a U.S. office that will support local needs with SAE A and SAE AA flange hydraulic pumps. The firm's product line features high-pressure, aluminum body, bearing clock design gear pumps for applications such as agricultural, mobile equipment, or industrial power packs. Recent design upgrades offer working pressure ratings up to 24,130 kPa (3500 psi).
Spool position sensor
HydraForce's PD Series of pilot-operated hydraulic directional valves is available with a built-in electronic Hall-effect spool position sensor. The noncontact sensor produces a low-current output signal for an electronic control system or safety monitoring system to verify whether the valve is in neutral or shifted position. It accepts supply voltages from 9 to 28 V dc and supply currents up to 9 mA. Output can be sinking or sourcing at up to 25 mA. Maximum sinking output voltage is 0.40 V dc; maximum sourcing output voltage is 28 V dc.
