Refueling pumps
Jabsco's 35 and 50 L (1.2 and 1.8 ft3) vehicle-mounted diesel refueling pumps have been upgraded to offer improved motor housings, which not only reduce the possibility of water ingress, but also provide improved weather and corrosion resistance. The enclosures now exceed the IP55 standard, and the stop/start switch has been relocated in the enclosure at the back of the motor. The 50 L pump, the VR050, also benefits from integral thermal overload protection, which prevents damage to the motor in the event of blockages or excessive pressures or if the pump is run for an excessively long time.
Rocker switch
Eaton Corp.'s sealed vehicle rocker switch contains a unique lightpipe that focuses the light source onto either the rocker symbol or lens for high-quality illumination. The switch is sealed at the front and back to meet the rigorous sealing requirements of IP67. Ten-terminal construction enables a variety of circuits.
Mobile Pentium computer
The VCOM5 from Vansco allows PC programs to be written using standard Windows98 software design tools then transferred to the VCOM5 for use on the vehicle or vehicle attachments. The rugged electronic hardware and case are designed to stand up to vibration, temperature variation, humidity, and dust, allowing complex programs to be used reliably to monitor or control the operation of any vehicle in harsh environmental conditions.
Tilt switch
The AccuSwitch dual-axis tilt switch from Schaevitz Sensors is based on the AccuStar II/DAS-20 dual-axis clinometer, an angle measurement sensor that combines two clinometers in one package. The switch offers programmable switch points and is designed with open collector and polarity outputs for each axis. Designed to meet the needs of man lift, crane, wheel alignment, material handling, recreational vehicle leveling, and pitch and roll measuring applications, the AccuSwitch can be adapted to fit other tilt applications.
