Fastening systems
Huck Fasteners' Huck-Spin fastening systems provide shockless, quiet installation that reduces worker fatigue. The spin-on, swage, spin-off installation sequence eliminates pintails and requires no impact wrench for a torqueless, ergonomic process. The permanent clamp never needs retorquing.
Gun drilling system
The 200 Series gun drill from TechniDrill Systems, Inc. can drill 8620 steel at a penetration rate of 89 mm/min (3.5 in/min). This four-spindle, single-axis drilling system can produce over 80 pieces per hour, drilling an 8 mm (0.3 in) hole to a depth of 217 mm (8.5 in). The system's controls provide programmable depth control, variable speeds and feed rates, and full diagnostics of spindle loads and coolant pressure and flow. The machine features automatic part loading and unloading and an effective chip handling system.
Battery monitoring
The TST battery monitoring system from Transportation Safety Technologies consists of a vacuum fluorescent display that provides excellent readabilityeven in full sunlightand withstands extreme temperature. Compact size allows for easy panel mounting in the console. The system includes a voltmeter, ammeter, system status indicator, and Hall-effect current sensor with cable.
Welding data
G-STAT software from Genesis Systems Group is an automated monitoring and reporting tool that provides data on robotic welding systems production activity. Reports may be generated automatically on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis and e-mailed to appropriate personnel. The reports use Microsoft Excel tools and may be customized. The software also displays the real-time state of each system and alerts of specified conditions via paging.
