High-performance motor oil
CorrLube Motor Oils from Cortec protect engines against corrosive wear by combining the firm's vapor phase corrosion inhibition chemistries with enhanced lubrication properties. The oils offer an SAE 15-40 weight for API Service CF, CF-4, and CH-4/SJ and an SAE 10W-30 weight for API Service CF, CF-2, CF-4, and CH-4SH. They combat the two crucial ingredients for engine wear: moisture and acidic-combustion by-products. Applications include off-road equipment, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery.
DSP software
DSPdeveloper from SDL offers graphical programming, data logging, plotting, debugging, and monitoring. It requires no prior DSP programming skills. The system works with MATLAB from The MathWorks and the interactive modeling and simulation capabilities of Simulink, as well as with adjoining toolboxes Real-Time Workshop and Stateflow. DSPdeveloper is compatible with The Modal Shop's LanSHARC development kit, which was designed as a highly programmable and configurable platform for advanced machine process vibration and acoustic monitoring and control.
Switch control system
Transportation Safety Technologies' TouchTek VI six-position switch control package includes a compact, customized switch control panel, PCB power distribution center, and quick-connect cable. It features LED illumination, conductive rubber switches that change color when activated, selectable sequencing for all switch positions, and LED diagnostics.
Accelerometer/microphone
R.C. Electronics Inc.'s Dynamics 4290 accelerometer/microphone and differential amplifier is designed for versatility. While specifying ±0.1% gain accuracy and ±0.01% linearity, the unit enables engineers to interface sensors requiring both constant current and high bias voltage excitation. Alternatively, it can be configured as a differential dc/ac amplifier for voltage input sensors. The amplifier is manufactured with potentiometers, switches, and electronic components that operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to +50°C (-4 to +122°F).
Rotary switches
Detent-action rotary switches from Electroswitch offer continuous ratings ranging from 5 to 30 A at 600 V. Providing up to 16 positions and up to 75 poles, the detent switches feature fully enclosed decks; positive detent-action; and silver-plated, blade-type, double-sided, double-wiping contacts for low-resistance, shockproof contacting. Optional features for the detent line include waterproof mounts, gear-driven operation, push-to-turn handles, and key-operated units.
