Transparent heaters

Transparent sensors from Elmwood Sensors offer see-through heating for applications that require a clear viewing area and a wireless design. Optical grade transparent film yields light transmission from 80 to 95% with no obstruction elements in the viewing area, while contrast enhancement filters and anti-glare treatments further improve display readability. The heaters perform in operating environments as low as -40°F (-40°C) and are available in thicknesses of 0.007 in (0.2 mm). They are suited for LCD instrumentation where visual light transmission is important, such as the instrument panels of forklifts used in warehouse freezers and on hand-held meters used in harsh environmental conditions.

Cable clamp

The covered cable clamp from Tyco Electronics attaches to existing circular plastic connectors and allows 360° rotation for wire installation and manipulation. The cover portion of the product attaches to the cable clamp body and is secured by the clamp insert and a self-tapping screw. The right-angle clamp is suited for applications where straight strain relief is too long or when wires need to bend into a confined enclosure in heavy harness applications such as instrumentation and industrial machinery. Four sizes are available to match shell sizes 11, 13, 17, and 23.

Heavy-duty plugs

Four wiring devices have been added to the Marinco Industrial Group product line: the 12-V 12VRCTT thin terminal receptacle with two different NEMA connection tabs to prevent misconnection during installation, the 12 V at 2-A 12VPG2A plug, and the 24-V 24VRC receptacle and 24VPG plug with a red LED power light indicator. All receptacles feature the Slide-Lok locking ring, which allows installers to slide the keyed ring past most of the threads. The devices offer a moisture-proof connection with metal points for minimal current loss and are suited for off-road applications including construction, agricultural, and industrial vehicles.

Operator chair system

J.R. Merritt Controls, Inc.'s type HFC and HRC-100 fixed or rotating operator chair with 5-in (127-mm) wide consoles is suited for tight cabins. The chair system, furnished with an adjustable Actimo/MSC seat, is configured to accommodate oil over oil or electrical joysticks. Amplifier cards can be furnished with the joysticks to control most manufacturers' electrohydraulic proportional valves. Access panels and openings facilitate the installation of hydraulic hoses or wiring, and control consoles and armrests flip back for operator access.

Transit plate

The azimuth transit plate from Pinpoint Laser Systems was designed to improve efficiency and reduce downtime with the Laser Microgage measuring system. The tool provides measuring and alignment to 0.001 in (0.025 mm) over distances of 50 ft (15 m) and is suited for machinery installation, roller and guide alignment, and machine tool adjustment. The Laser Microgage system features a laser transmitter that projects a laser reference beam, which can be leveled, turned, and positioned to an accurate location for measuring and aligning straightness, flatness, parallelism, squareness, and leveling. The azimuth transit plate can be mounted on a tripod or bolted to the framework and machinery.
