Screens

Tough, flexible Dur-X-Ultra Flex screens from Durex Products prevent wet material from blinding over screen openings and plugging up production. A new product design gives the screens the extra flexibility to bounce off sticky materials, while a new rubber formula delivers improved abrasion and tear resistance. The product helps concrete, aggregate, and mining producers meet the exact specifications of their industry, be more productive, and reduce costs.

Industrial transmissions

The DAS series of industrial transmissions from Drive-All Manufacturing Co., Inc. is recognized by its split housing, heavy bearing carriers, and rugged design. The units, aptly named "hi-torque series," are available in one to four speeds and have capacities ranging from 373-746 kW (500-1000 hp). They are available in manual, automatic, and power-shift styles. This series is manufactured for a traditional input motor speed of 1800 rpm.

Dump bodies

Del Hydraulics offers a steel dump body for single, tandem, and tri-axle trucks, a lightweight dump body for one-ton trucks, and slide-in dump bodies for any size pickup truck and utility body. The firm's newest truck-equipment product is the Multi-Tipster, which is a multi-function workhorse designed for use as a tilt-bed trailer, single-axle trailer, or dump trailer.

Seating

H.O. Bostrom Co.'s Sierra Torsion-380LX/OS (operator's seat) offers complete adjustability and uses H.O. Bostrom's patented torsion bar suspension and finger-tip height adjustment. The heavy-duty mechanical suspension features a front wheel weight adjust to provide the same smooth ride regardless of the occupant's size ranging from 50 to 125 kg (110 to 275 lb). The high-strength torsion bar and built-in damper allows 102 mm (4 in) of shock-absorbing ride, and the finger-tip height adjustment provides a variable seat height from 432 to 508 mm (17 to 20 in). The Sierra upper seat offers complete adjustment with standard infinite back recline, two-way lumbar adjustment, and optional three-position flip-up armrests.

Hydraulic brakes

An articulated vehicle parking brake from Ausco requires minimal maintenance and reduces manufacturing costs. The spring-applied, hydraulically released, totally enclosed, wet multi-disc brake is designed to operate in harsh conditions with little maintenance. Its sealed brake and disc assemblies, sump-cooled with constant air circulation, resist corrosion and eliminate the need for an external oil supply as well as more evenly distribute heat. In addition to maintenance savings, the location and design of the brake eliminate costly drivetrain components. Installed at the articulated joint and mountable to the frame in the driveline, the brake combines the joint's bearing carrier with the brake itself, removing the need for the bearing carrier. It also eliminates caliper brake installation and associated hardware such as the pump, discs, and mounting brakes.

Bulk material handling

ASGCO Manufacturing will introduce several new products for the bulk material-handling industries. The Tru-Trainer Belt Alignment system smoothes out belt training problems caused by build-up. The rugged NewWave 3 provides advanced engineering and fast installation. A full-conveyor demo will show the Clamp-Mount Skirtboard System with Tri-Seal/Multi-Seal sealing compound and the Slide-N-Seal and Slide-N-Roll impact beds.
