Fittings, Flanged to Beaded, Fluid Connection

2015-07-27
HISTORICAL
AS4875/2
This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) establishes the requirements for fluid fittings that combine both flanged fitting ends and beaded hose connections for use in all types of fluid systems.

IMPULSE TESTING OF HYDRAULIC HOSE ASSEMBLIES, TUBING, AND FITTINGS

1977-10-01
HISTORICAL
ARP603D
This recommended practice establishes the requirements and the procedures for impulse testing of hose assemblies, tubing, and fittings for use in aerospace hydraulic systems of 4000 psi nominal operating pressure or less. It also refers to standard impulse test equipment to be used in conducting these impulse tests.

Qualification of Hydraulic Tube Joints to Specified Flexure Fatigue Requirements

2019-01-03
WIP
ARP1258C
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) establishes the method for qualification testing of tube joints and fitting attachments, using the flexure test method described in ARP1185. This qualification test method allows the determination of S-N type stress versus cycles or D-N type deflection versus cycles curves, as illustrated in AIR1418 as an alternate to flexure testing to a minimum endurance stress level.

PRESTRESSING (AUTOFRETTAGING) OF HYDRAULIC TUBING LINES

1977-07-01
HISTORICAL
AIR1379
This AIR is intended to describe and document a process presently in use for proof testing, which at the same time improves the fatigue life of 304 1/8 hard CRES and 3A1-2.5V CWSR titanium hydraulic tubing lines.
