The Ecomix II transmission for concrete mixer trucks is smaller, lighter, and quieter than the first-generation Ecomix, says ZF. A new bearing design made it possible to significantly increase the output bearing strength, leading to enhanced rigidity during off-highway operation. The transmission is for mixer trucks with up to a 10-m3 (13-yd3) drum capacity and output torque of approximately 62,000 N·m (45,700 lb·ft).
