LOGICAL SOFTWARE PART PACKAGING FOR TRANSPORT

2020-11-16
CURRENT
ARINC641-1
The purpose of this standard is to provide a method for packaging aircraft software parts for distribution using contemporary media or by electronic distribution. This project intends to standardize and provide guidance for the storage of floppy based software, currently packaged in media set parts. This standard format can be then stored or distributed on a single physical media member (CD-ROM), or by electronic crate. The obsolescence of floppy disks drive an urgent need for this guidance.

AIRCRAFT SOFTWARE COMMON CONFIGURATION REPORTING

2019-08-13
CURRENT
ARINC843-1
This standard defines a common configuration report format that can be retrieved from an aircraft for use by ground tools and maintenance personnel. Reports will be generated in Extensible Markup Language (XML) format and structured as defined by this document. Several optional elements and attributes are defined to allow flexibility for a given report. This standard provides aircraft manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and airlines a format standard for aircraft configuration reporting, and facilitates automated comparison of configuration data reports (e.g., authorized versus as flying, etc.).

CURRENT
ARINC653P3A-1C1
ARINC 653, Part 3A is the Compliance Test Specification for ARINC 653 Required Services presently defined in ARINC 653 Part 1. The document specifies a set of stimuli and the expected responses. Future work on the ARINC 653 document set includes an effort to define Operating System services for multi-core processor environments. The Compliance Test Specification is expected to be updated in step with ARINC 653, Part 1.

Enhanced License for Data Dictionary for Quantities Used in Cyber Physical Systems (AS6969) allowing for greater usage as outlined in the terms of the Enhanced License. Terms can be reviewed prior to purchase once item is added to the cart. Data Dictionary for Quantities Used in Cyber Physical Systems (AS6969) This data dictionary provides a mathematically coherent set of definitions for quantity types used in data models for unmanned systems. In this data dictionary, a quantity is defined as a property of a phenomenon, substance, or body whose value has magnitude.

Design For Maintainer (DFM) Process Standard

2018-08-14
WIP
SAE1009
The Design for Maintainer (DFM) standard identifies the recommended approach for conducting Design for Maintainability activities in support of system acquisition programs. The standard identifies general requirements and processes of a successful DFM program during concept and design development to ensure the lowest possible ownership costs. This standard provides specific detailed contractor requirements for DFM activities inclusive of the Human Engineering domain. The standard is consistent with MIL-STD-46855 and SAE 6906 Human Systems Integration. And DFM standard practices support performance of activities in coordination with other associated disciplines such as maintainability, supportability, and integrated logistics.

Off-Road Self-Propelled Work Machines Operator enclosure environment Part 4:Heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) test method and performance

2014-09-16
WIP
J3078/4
J3078/4 specifies a uniform test method for measuring the contribution to operator environmental temperature provided by a heating, ventilating and air conditioning system operating in a specific ambient environment. The method might not determine the complete climatic environment of the operator since this is also affected by heat load from sources other than those on the machine, for example solar heating. J3708/6 is to be used in conjunction with J3078/4 to determine more accurately the complete heat loading on the operator enclosure. Minimum performance levels for the machine’s operator enclosure heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems are established in J3708/4.

CDIF - Transfer Format Syntax - SYNTAX.1

2016-06-15
CURRENT
EIAIS109
The CDIF Family of Standards is primarily designed to be used as a description of a mechanism for transferring information between CASE tools. It facilitates a successful transfer when the authors of the importing and exporting tools have nothing in common except an agreement to conform to CDIF. The language that is defined for the Transfer Format also has applicability as a general language for Import/Export from repositories. The CDIF Integrated Meta-model defined for CASE also has applicability as the basis of standard definitions for use in repositories. The standards which form the complete family of CDIF Standards are documented in EIA/IS-106 CDIF - CASE Data Interchange Format - Overview. These standards cover the overall framework, the transfer format and the CDIF Integrated Meta-model. The diagram in Figure 1 depicts the various standards that comprise the CDIF Family of Standards.

Gas Turbine Engine Performance Presentation for Digital Computer Programs Using Fortran 77

2009-05-05
CURRENT
ARP4191D
This SAE Aerospace Recommended Paractice (ARP) provides a method for digital computer programs for gas turbine engine performance, steady-state or transient, performance to be written using the FORTRAN 77 language. When it is agreed between the program User and Supplier that a particular program shall be supplied in FORTRAN 77, it is recommended that this ARP be used in conjunction with AS681 for steady-state and transient programs. This ARP also describes how to take advantage of the FORTRAN 77 CHARACTER storage to extend the information interface between the calling program and the engine subroutine. The ARP has the same major section numbers as AS681 to facilitate its use with this document. The information given in each section of this ARP is additional to that given in AS 681.
