Did You Qualify to Register for 2010 FSAE Early?

For the past couple of years, SAE International has granted teams who finished on top to register 1 week earlier than the opening day for the next year’s competition season. For 2010, due to the cancellation of one event there will only be 200 available slots: 120 in Michigan and 80 in California.

SAE BRASIL will elect the winners from their 2009 competition this fall.

Teams who have finished on top in several competitions are still only granted 1 early registration. The rule of 1 competition for the first month will still apply. Regardless of the event a team finished in, teams can choose to compete in either Michigan or California. If you return to the event you won in your team will be given your 2009 finishing place as 2010 car number. If you decide to compete in an event in which you did not place then you will receive the next available number after 10.
Those teams who are listed above need to have a representative contact Kaley Zundel at 724-772-8533 or kzundel@sae.org. Information on payment details, team name and team contact will be required at that time. If you do not contact Kaley Zundel before September 25th, your team will be forced to register with other teams on Monday, October 5th at 10 am EST. Early registration will be completed the week of September 28th – October 2nd.
Reminder: Registration fees have been raised to $2000.00 for 2010 competition season. Teams will be required to pay for registration with a valid credit at the time of registration. If any credit cards are declined the team will have 30 days to find another payment source before their registration is cancelled and open to the public.
